Peter Dubé is the author of four works of fiction: Hovering World (DC Books 2002), At the Bottom of the Sky (DC Books, 2007), Subtle Bodies (Lethe Press 2010) which was nominated for the Shirley Jackson Award and, most recently, The City’s Gates (Cormorant Books, 2012). He is also the editor of the anthologies Madder Love: Queer Men and the Precincts of Surrealism (Rebel Satori, 2008) and Best Gay Stories 2011 (Lethe Press, 2011). A collection of prose poems entitled Conjure is forthcoming on Rebel Satori Press. In addition, he is a widely published cultural critic with essays on books and the visual arts appearing in journals such as Espace Sculpture, ESSE, Ashe Journal, The Montreal Review of Books and Spirale, and in exhibition publications for various galleries, among them SKOL, Mercer Union and the Leonard and Bina Ellen Gallery of Concordia University.  Peter lives and works in Montreal.
