Ian Orti is the author of The Olive and the Dawn (Snare Books; 2009) and L (Invisible Publishing; 2010). His work has appeared in VICE Magazine, Filling Station, The Toronto Quarterly and in Matrix Magazine where he writes a music column. He was born in Kingston, Ontario, but spent the last ten years in Montreal, Quebec. Last fall he moved to the coast of Ecuador to write the final draft of L.
